AutoCAD Technician Job Description

At Nicholas Associates, we are seeking a highly skilled AutoCAD Technician to join our team in Sheffield.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver AutoCAD drawings, providing technically sound engineering solutions.
  • Produce General Arrangement Drawings.
  • Administer and maintain Engineering Records.
  • Manage Assets and develop BOM structure.
  • Liaise with external suppliers and contractors to resolve production and engineering challenges.
  • Develop plant drawings to enhance performance and reliability.
  • Interpret drawings and specifications to resolve technical difficulties.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements.
  • Participate in meetings to provide project updates.
  • Maintain Design Change Registers and ensure configuration control.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

Requirements:

  • Well-developed time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
