About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Asset Manager to join our team at UKOS BayWa r.e. Operation Services Limited. As a key member of our Wind Asset Management team, you will be responsible for the overall ownership and management of several operational wind farms.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with site owners, ensuring prompt and effective communication and issue resolution.
  2. Contract Management: Manage all contracts and agreements associated with the sites, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  3. Operations Management: Oversee the planning and execution of works to maximize production, while ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules.
  4. Technical Analysis: Conduct detailed technical analysis to identify trends and factors impacting production and asset life.
  5. Contractor Management: Evaluate and manage contractor performance, ensuring obligations are met and value is delivered to customers.
  6. Information Management: Ensure accurate and complete historical data and documentation are maintained for customer access.
  7. Reporting: Prepare detailed customer reports on site performance and contractual compliance, providing recommendations for improvement.
  8. Procurement: Lead or support the procurement process for contractors and new O&M arrangements.
  9. Technical Advisory: Integrate new sites into operations, conduct due diligence, and advise customers on technical matters.
Requirements
  1. Education: Degree qualified in Engineering, Project Management, or a relevant discipline.
  2. Experience: Proven experience in managing technical operations of onshore wind farms or similar technologies.
  3. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of wind turbine technology, wind farm operations, SCADA systems, and UK HSE legislation.
  4. Contract Management: Proven track record in managing contracts, with ability to read, understand, and enforce contracts effectively.
  5. Analysis: Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to manipulate data to identify patterns and trends.
  6. Communication: Excellent customer-facing skills, with ability to communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels.
  7. Personality: Well-organized, able to manage competing priorities, and meet targets and deadlines.
  8. IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, with excellent Excel skills.
  9. Drivers Licence: Valid licence required due to the nature of the role.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Valid IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
  2. Specialist experience in wind industry, mechanical or electrical engineering, or environmental management.
  3. Ability to programme for data analysis.
