Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Research Associate to join our team at Newcastle University. This role involves engaging in innovative research focused on animal behavior, particularly in understanding emotional processes in bees.
Key Duties
- Conduct in-depth investigations into emotion-related behaviors and cognitive tendencies in bees.
- Design and execute experimental studies, ensuring rigorous data collection and analysis.
- Utilize statistical models and video analysis techniques to interpret research findings.
- Present and disseminate research outcomes to both internal and external audiences.
- Participate in outreach initiatives and foster collaborations with various stakeholders.
- Mentor junior researchers and enhance your own skill set through continuous learning.
Qualifications
- A PhD in a relevant scientific discipline is required.
- Demonstrated experience in the field of animal behavior research.
