Job Description

The Leonardo GCAP Team is seeking a skilled Hardware Infrastructure Developer to collaborate with international and UK partners in developing next-generation communications and data infrastructure systems. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the hardware infrastructure, working closely with the Systems Architect and Project Design Authority to ensure a cohesive Hardware Architecture consistent with the System Architecture aims and technical specification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain architecture models to create the 'digital twin'.
  • Support verification testing, analysis, and evidence gathering.
  • Understand overall system/sub-system function and key performance drivers.
  • Electronics hardware, software, firmware, power, integration, RF, safety, and others.
  • Manage technical risks.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and translate ideas to the overall product.
Project-Specific Skills
  • Digital Electronics and microprocessor systems.
