About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Football. This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for the management of the editorial team and the development of our football programming.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of producers, associate producers, and directors to drive new content format ideas and compelling storytelling for our audiences.
  • Oversee the generation of creative ideas to support the direction of football programming and ensure alignment with the company's broadcast strategy.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to manage equipment and necessary production resources.
  • Maintain and develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing the company.
  • Work closely with the content and production leadership team to drive innovation and create a strong creative vision.
Requirements
  • Significant production experience within live sport broadcasting.
  • Understanding of the sports television business, subscription television, and sports streaming platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of sports production techniques and industry trends.
  • Strong leadership qualities for managing a team.
  • Excellent understanding of all contributing elements of a live/recorded TV show.
  • Experience managing production budgets.
