About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to join our team at One Retail. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across our retail operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and motivate a team of Regional Managers to deliver key financial targets and overall compliance.
  • Commercial Acumen: Develop a deep understanding of our retail business, identifying opportunities to maximize sales and revenue while ensuring brand compliance.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, reviewing contract performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards to ensure our brand standards are met and compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards is maintained.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability through effective resource allocation and financial planning.
  • Project Management: Manage all stakeholders and project plans during the planning and refresh/build of units from concept to completion.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and drive process enhancements to optimize efficiency and service delivery.
Requirements
  • Operational Experience: A minimum of 5 years operational experience in senior leadership roles within retail or hospitality.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Client Management: Experience of managing complex and multiple client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Compliance: Knowledge of health and safety and regulatory compliance.
