Senior Land Manager

Bellway plc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Land Manager to join its East Midlands Division. As a key member of the Land department, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring development sites to meet the division's land targets.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain effective working relationships with local authorities, land owners, and other developers to pursue opportunities for the company.
- Liaise with internal departments and other divisions to ensure opportunities are optimised and effective working relationships are developed.
- Present acquisition proposals in an objective and professional manner, with required input from other departments.
- Appoint external professionals and consultants in relation to site appraisal, in liaison with the Technical Department.
- Responsible for all projects from initial site identification to purchase and implementable planning consent being obtained, in line with budgets.
- Assist the Land Director in reviewing and finalising the Land Strategy, managing the land bid and land acquisition process.
- Experience of working as a Land Manager or Senior Land Manager managing complex land deals.
- Excellent working knowledge of land acquisition and the appraisal process.
- Property Development and Planning Degree or Real Estate Degree is desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to work to deadlines, and proficient IT skills.
