Dual Children's Home Manager Opportunity

This esteemed organization, Purosearch Ltd, is seeking a highly experienced and qualified individual to assume the role of Dual Children's Home Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing two of the company's established children's residential homes, one rated good and the other on track to improve drastically in its next inspection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the well-being and individual needs of up to five young people are met.
  • Guarantee both homes operate in compliance with OFSTED regulations, care standards, company policies, and legislative requirements.
  • Provide strong leadership to ensure efficient management and staffing of the homes, delivering exceptional care.
  • Assist in the hiring, selection, and onboarding of new staff, ensuring all checks and training are completed.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record working with Ofsted.
  • Experience working with children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
  • Compassion and empathy.
  • Experience in commissioning.
  • A relevant management qualification, ideally Level 5 in Leadership & Management.
  • A strong understanding of OFSTED regulations and related legislation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage pressure and handle challenging situations.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
