Human Resources Officer

Our client, a leading academic professional business, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to join their team. As an HR Officer, you will be responsible for providing support on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruitment administration, including drafting job descriptions, advertising roles, and managing the recruitment process.
- Advising on employment law and HR best practice, including visa compliance and immigration issues.
- Liaising with the HR Manager and Heads of Departments on disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Maintaining personnel files and HR systems.
- Providing advice and support on employee relations, including sick leave, parental leave, and annual leave.
- Good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Educated to graduate level or working towards a CIPD qualification.
- Experience of working in education or academia, with a strong understanding of the sector.
This is a permanent role, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm. The successful candidate will be based in Central London and will report to the Head of HR.
