About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our client's team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the production of timely, accurate, and relevant financial reports and statements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the production of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and budget assistance.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, including client reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, payroll, and tax accounts.
  • Prepare and submit VAT and EC sales returns and reconciliations.
  • Manage intercompany charges and journal entries.
  • Analyze performance against key KPIs and provide monthly commentary.
  • Present financial data to the commercial team.
  • Support year-end statutory accounts and work with auditors.
  • Assist in the production of annual overhead budgets.
  • Undertake ad hoc financial analysis and tasks as required by the finance team.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be part-qualified in ACCA or CIMA and possess strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, and Pivot Tables. Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
