About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Services Director to join our team at Priory. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the clinical services operation across our hospital, ensuring the highest level of patient care is provided at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the hospital strategy, providing operational and clinical leadership
- Ensure full compliance with legislation, statutory regulations, organisational and local policies, procedures and professional standards
- Lead and manage clinical teams to achieve high quality clinical and therapeutic outcomes
- Develop and implement quality initiatives to drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with external professionals to ensure effective service delivery
Requirements
- Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Recognised post-registration qualification, together with full membership/accreditation of a relevant professional institution and evidence of continuous professional development
- Detailed understanding of statutory regulations
- Passionate about providing high quality care and continuous improvements
- Demonstrated leadership and decision making skills
- Forward thinking, proactive and creative
- Ability to deal with multiple issues simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment
- Demonstrated high levels of integrity and boundaries
- Experience of working at a supervisory or managerial level within a mental health environment
- Experience of managing a clinical budget
- Strong background in people management
- Strong background in working with external professionals
- Experience of leading, implementing and reviewing quality initiatives
