Director of Clinical Services

Priory is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Clinical Services to join our team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care is provided at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver the hospital strategy, providing operational and clinical leadership.
  • Ensure full compliance with legislation, statutory regulations, organisational and local policies, procedures and professional standards.
  • Lead clinical teams to achieve high-quality clinical and therapeutic outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of quality and meaningful engagement with patients and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Recognised post-registration qualification, together with full membership/accreditation of a relevant professional institution and evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Passionate about providing high-quality care and continuous improvements.
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Forward thinking, proactive, and creative.
  • Ability to deal with multiple issues simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Strong background in people management and working with external professionals.
  • Experience of leading, implementing, and reviewing quality initiatives in a related environment.
  • Strong track record of innovation and creating a positive, proactive, and engaging culture.
