About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Catering Team Member to join our team at Gloucester Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers have a memorable experience in our café.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and presenting our café to the highest standards, ensuring that all products are available and displayed in line with our visual merchandising and food safety standards.
  • Offering a warm welcome to all customers, accurately making food and drink orders, and processing payments correctly and efficiently.
  • Ensuring that all food is fresh, rotated, and replenished throughout the day to encourage customers to buy our freshly prepared products.
  • Providing up-to-date knowledge and advice on our food and home-cooked meals straight from our kitchens.
  • Checking that customers are seated comfortably, and tables are clean and clear, and being willing to scrub-in whenever needed, including potwash.
  • Attending to the small details to ensure brilliant customer service, resolving problems yourself or with your team to find a way that exceeds their expectations.

No experience is necessary, but a positive 'can-do' mindset and a passion for delivering great customer service is essential.
