Holiday Camp Supervisor

The Camp Manager plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional multi-activity holiday childcare programs while ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. We seek passionate and experienced individuals dedicated to enriching children's holiday experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead a team of staff to ensure high-quality care and engaging activities.
- Motivate and inspire staff to provide enjoyable and educational experiences for children.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and operational policies, including health and safeguarding protocols.
- Conduct staff training sessions prior to the camp's commencement.
- Collaborate with early years leaders to meet regulatory requirements and facilitate inspections.
- Maintain communication with headquarters regarding daily operations and any arising issues.
- Serve as the primary contact for parents, addressing concerns and providing updates.
- Coordinate with the host institution to ensure smooth camp operations.
- Manage administrative tasks, including attendance records, staff schedules, and program adjustments.
- Work alongside specialized program teams to ensure seamless integration of activities.
- Address challenges that arise in a dynamic camp environment.
- Promote the welfare of children, ensuring high-quality childcare tailored to diverse needs.
- Embody the commitment to inspiring children daily and uphold the company's values throughout your tenure.
- Exhibit high energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism, serving as a role model for both children and staff.
Essential Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications or progress towards certification in childcare, education, or coaching, with substantial experience working with children.
- Proven leadership skills with management experience in childcare, holiday camps, or educational settings.
- Strong communication abilities, particularly in face-to-face interactions with parents and staff.
- Familiarity with camp activities and readiness to temporarily cover groups as needed.
- Effective decision-making skills, capable of assessing situations and making informed choices.
- Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to respond to changing circumstances.
- Aspirations for a rewarding career in childcare, education, or coaching.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Pediatric First Aid (12-hour or 6-hour).
