Position Overview
The Camp Manager plays a pivotal role in the effective management of our diverse holiday childcare programs, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. We seek dedicated and experienced individuals who are passionate about creating memorable experiences for children during their school breaks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of staff to guarantee the delivery of high-quality care and engaging activities.
  • Motivate and inspire your team to provide exceptional experiences through enthusiastic leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all operational policies and procedures, particularly regarding health and safety, to maintain a secure environment for children and staff.
  • Conduct staff training sessions prior to the commencement of camp.
  • Collaborate with educational leaders to meet regulatory requirements and facilitate inspections.
  • Serve as the primary contact for parents, addressing any concerns or feedback throughout the camp day.
  • Coordinate with school representatives to ensure seamless camp operations.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including attendance tracking, staff scheduling, and program adjustments.
  • Work closely with specialized program teams to ensure cohesive camp experiences.
  • Address any challenges that arise in a dynamic camp setting.
  • Promote the welfare of all children in your care, ensuring that individual needs are met through high-quality childcare.
  • Embody the company’s mission of inspiring children every day, serving as a role model for both staff and campers.

Essential Qualifications
  • Relevant qualifications or progress towards a qualification in childcare, education, or coaching, with substantial experience working with children.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience in management, preferably in holiday camps or educational settings.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in face-to-face interactions with parents and staff.
  • Familiarity with camp activities and readiness to step in as needed.
  • Decisive and capable of making informed choices quickly.
  • Adaptable and diligent, able to respond effectively to changing situations.
  • Aspirations for a rewarding career in childcare, education, or coaching.

Desirable Qualifications
  • Certification in Pediatric First Aid.
