Join Our Team as a Finance Systems Support and Development Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Finance Systems Support and Development Manager to enhance our operations within the Shared Service Centre.

This pivotal role acts as the main liaison for the user community of Essbase, Hyperion, and Oracle EPM Cloud across various regions of the organization.

Reporting directly to the Director of Financial Systems, you will be instrumental in connecting finance and systems teams, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of user requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing support to Management Accounts, Financial Accounts, and Commercial Finance user groups across multiple regions.
  • Assessing reporting needs of user groups to confirm that system modifications yield the intended results.
  • Overseeing data integration into Essbase, Hyperion, and Oracle EPM.
  • Reconciling data across various systems and addressing any inconsistencies.
  • Updating mapping tables and scripts to align with regional and Chart of Accounts requirements.
  • Resolving complex inquiries from Group FP&A and finance teams.
  • Assisting users with advanced inquiries and Oracle GL responsibilities.
  • Participating in governance meetings to secure approvals for essential changes.
  • Executing development tasks and managing small-scale projects independently or in collaboration with the Technology team for larger initiatives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Essbase, Hyperion Planning, and Oracle ERP modules.
  • Familiarity with Business Objects Reporting Tools.
  • Qualified Accountant with a focus on Management Accounts and a strong interest in finance systems.
  • Exceptional customer relationship and service skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including macros, visual basic, and power query.
  • Practical experience as an HFM and FDM User.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across all management levels and influence senior stakeholders.
