Position Overview
Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is at the forefront of healthcare innovation, having successfully implemented the Cerner Millennium Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system. This initiative has significantly enhanced operational efficiency and patient safety across our facilities.
As we expand our EPR capabilities, we are excited to announce an opportunity for a Clinical Systems Analyst to join our dedicated team. This role is essential as we integrate the Theatres, Anaesthesia and Critical Care (TACC) module, which will streamline patient management in critical care and surgical environments.
Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Systems Analyst will play a pivotal role in the design, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the EPR system, ensuring compliance with the highest patient safety standards. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough analyses of EPR workflows and facilitating process redesigns.
- Addressing user inquiries escalated from support teams and presenting change requests to the Joint Change Board.
- Collaborating with Workstream Leads on various projects to enhance system functionality.
- Engaging with subject matter experts, clinicians, and end-users to gather insights and requirements.
- Occasionally liaising with Oracle Health to implement new system content.
- Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials, and demonstrating system changes to staff.
This role is dynamic and will evolve as we continue to optimize the EPR system for our users.

Candidate Profile
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience in a clinical setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in process improvement and change management.
- Familiarity with Electronic Patient Record systems or similar clinical software.
- Experience in process mapping and current state analysis.
Essential Skills:
- Strong keyboard and IT skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage a diverse workload and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
Knowledge Requirements:
