About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Taiko Foods Ltd. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our food manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Quality Systems: Design, implement, and maintain quality systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct Internal and External Audits: Perform regular internal and external audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Lead Quality Improvement Initiatives: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage Quality Teams: Lead and develop a team of quality professionals to ensure effective quality management.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with production, procurement, and other departments to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Develop and Maintain Quality Documentation: Create and maintain quality procedures, policies, and records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Food Manufacturing Experience: Proven experience in food manufacturing or production is highly desirable.
  • Quality Assurance Certification: Possession of a recognized quality assurance certification, such as CQI or ASQ, is an asset.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage quality teams and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
