Job Summary:
Hales Group is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our operations.
Main Responsibilities:
• Maintain and review the Procedures Manual, Quality Management Manual, Equipment Maintenance, and staff training books to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Regularly review the HACCP Matrix and keep up to date with all relevant food legislation to ensure our products meet the required standards.
• Produce Product Procurement Forms, Allergen and Nutritional Values for customers, and complete technical documentation or questionnaires requested by the customer.
• Conduct Supplier Audits and type up reports following the visits to ensure our suppliers meet our quality standards.
• Carry out regular test product traceability's and recalls to ensure our products are safe for consumption.
• Review all products and suppliers on a regular basis to identify areas for improvement.
• Summarize any complaints as part of the Managers Meetings, and produce a summary where necessary, noting preventive and corrective action.
• Attend any training necessary to fulfill the position and stay up to date with industry developments.
• Attend Manager review meetings to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Requirements:
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards (e.g., GMP, FDA, BRC).
• Experience with audits, both internal and external.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control processes and quality management systems (e.g., ISO, HACCP).
• Meticulous in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication to liaise effectively with different departments and external auditors.
• Ability to present QA findings and reports clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with quality assurance software or platforms is a plus.
