Quality Assurance Manager

Henderson Brown Recruitment is seeking a driven and ambitious Quality Assurance Manager to join their business. As a leading food business, they supply to a variety of major retailers and are now expanding their presence in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the quality, safety, legality, and integrity of our product range, ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Implement and enforce factory-related QMS policies through regular audits and coaching sessions.
- Manage and mentor Quality Assurance Assistants, providing guidance and support.
- Investigate customer complaints, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and communicate resolutions in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement preventive measures from factory, internal, and third-party audit findings.
- Document, communicate, and investigate non-conforming materials, including raw materials, packaging, work-in-progress, and finished products.
- Coordinate with the Pest Control Provider to maintain documentation and plan corrective actions from site visits.
- Maintain and test physical traceability systems in warehouse and factory environments to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure calibration and availability of analytical equipment for product and environmental tests, managing repairs and replacements as needed.
- Complete scheduled validation activities, including CCP, pre-requisites, and allergen management.
