This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven leader to develop their skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will work closely with our School Improvement Team and other subject leads to pioneer curriculum collaboration and lead the development of Arts education across the Trust.
The successful candidate will be based at Gospel Oak School, with regular travel to other schools within the Trust. Initially, the Director of Arts aspect will be a part-time role, with the remaining time allocated to whole school responsibilities as an Assistant Principal.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of Arts education across the Trust, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning in all schools.
- Create subject networks to promote the sharing of best practice and professional development of all subject teachers.
- Prepare and implement annual plans for sustained curriculum development, aligning approaches in all schools within the Trust.
- Support subject leaders with expertise to secure strong teaching and learning and high achievement in the subject area.
- Cultivate strong relationships with education associations and learned societies, universities, and other bodies on behalf of the subject community.
- Develop partnerships that support the Arts within the Trust.
