Princes Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our frozen fish procurement efforts. As the Head of Fish Procurement, you will be responsible for ensuring the procurement of high-quality frozen fish at the lowest cost for our Mauritian processing operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the procurement of frozen fish, primarily tuna, to meet the company's quality, quantity, and delivery requirements.
- Maximize the utilization of PTM logistical operations, including cold store provision and inbound logistics, to achieve best cost.
- Develop and implement sustainable and ethical sourcing policies, in line with Princes' ESG Team objectives and ISSF commitments.
- Support the Princes ESG Team in achieving company tuna sustainability goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Procurement, Sales, Commercial, Technical, Finance, and Corporate Relations, to achieve procurement objectives.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, service providers, trade bodies, government, and non-government organizations.
- Senior level procurement experience in the seafood industry.
- International supply chain and/or operations expertise.
- Thorough understanding of procurement processes and frameworks.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate closely with key personnel in the PTM local management team.
- Degree-level qualification in a business-related subject.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP analytics & reporting.
- CIPS qualification at Associate/Member level.
- Willingness to travel in the UK and overseas.
