This is a temporary assignment until March 2025, supporting the finance team with various accounting and financial tasks, including budgeting, reconciling accounts, managing cash flow, processing invoices, handling tax and insurance matters, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

The role involves:

  • Development and preparation of budget and medium-term financial plans
  • Support with monthly reconciliations, pension, and payroll information
  • Providing support with pension-related tasks
  • Bank and account reconciliations
  • Monthly VAT and CIS reporting
  • Assisting in closing accounts, preparing documents for audit, and handling year-end financial tasks
  • Helping prepare financial information for the company website and completing required returns and statistics
  • Working towards agreed targets
  • Keeping insurance details updated, managing claims, and offering advice on insurance matters
  • Assisting with returns, reporting, and statistics
  • Providing support and advice on VAT, tax-related issues
  • Inputting invoices and matching POs
  • Using accounting software
  • Other finance duties as required

This role is Monday to Friday and is fully office-based, paying £13.71 per hour.

This role also requires a DBS check.
