Job Description

Job Title: Senior Inpatient Health Care Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Inpatient Health Care Assistant to join our team at the Evington Centre in Leicester General Hospital. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients with kindness, empathy, and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake clinical observations and provide clinical care as delegated by nursing staff.
  • Support patients in maintaining their health, well-being, and independence.
  • Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities.
  • Accurately record patient information and maintain accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to meet the needs of patients and their families.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience of working in health or social care and be able to complete the Care Certificate if you do not already hold it. You will also need to be able to work a 24/7 rota, including shifts of 7.5 or 11.5 hours in length.
