Education Officer

Depaul UK is seeking an experienced Education Officer to coordinate and deliver our Education programme in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will work closely with the National Education Programme Manager and the Prevention Team to develop and implement the programme, which aims to prevent youth homelessness by providing workshops and training to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate the Education programme in Milton Keynes, working with educational institutions to deliver workshops and training to children and young people.
  • Design and deliver engaging and innovative educational resources and workshops, tailored to the needs of children and young people with complex needs.
  • Build strong partnerships with educational institutions, marketing the programme and generating income to meet identified targets.
  • Monitor and evaluate the programme's impact, ensuring it has the highest possible effect on preventing youth homelessness.
  • Work collaboratively with the national team to review and update programme content, based on feedback and sector developments.
About You:

We are looking for an experienced Education Officer with excellent skills in working with children and young people, designing and delivering educational resources, and building partnerships with educational institutions. You will need to have a strong understanding of the issues affecting young people in Milton Keynes and be able to tailor the programme to meet their specific needs.
