Commercial Analyst Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Analyst to join our team at Currys plc. As a Commercial Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business growth and profitability by analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive market analysis reports to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends and patterns, and develop insights to inform pricing and product strategies
  • Work closely with suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms that meet business objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions, and develop recommendations to drive growth and profitability

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience in a commercial or analytical role, with a strong understanding of market trends and customer behavior
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
