Kitchen Assistant

The role of Kitchen Assistant at the John Lewis Partnership involves working in all areas of the kitchen, including kitchen porter, basic food preparation, and adhering to cleaning schedules. As a Partner, you will be part of a team that is committed to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the success of the Partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare food to a high standard, managing stock and wastage.
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure seamless service.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work in the department.
- Food Safety Level 2 (training will be provided within 3 months).
- Previous commercial kitchen experience is desirable.
