- Financial Planning and Reporting: Contribute to the annual budgeting process and deliver comprehensive financial reporting, including preparation and analysis of financial reports, statements, and budgets.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Develop and oversee the annual budget, manage financial and operational risks, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and audit preparation.
- Finance Business Partnering: Support and advise the business as a Finance Business Partner, providing strategic guidance and expertise.
- Team Leadership and Development: Coach, lead, and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
- Cash Flow and Treasury Management: Drive cash flow and treasury management strategies to optimize financial resources.
- Process Improvement: Identify process improvements and design and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Accounting Experience: Extensive accounts experience with great knowledge of accounting procedures and working within a quality framework.
- Qualifications: ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Leadership and Teamwork: A natural team player with a passion for developing, coaching, and leading finance teams, with experience of delivering effective formal performance reviews.
- Communication and Organization: High levels of communication skills, adapting style and content to your audience, and outstanding organization with an ability to manage multiple projects and relationships.
- Decision-Making: Strong decision-making skills.
- Culture Fit: A desire to work with a small yet mighty business who are focused on continuous improvement and customer experience.
- Location: Willingness to work with a commutable distance (ideally within 30 minutes) of Northampton.
With a competitive salary of around £60,000 pa depending on experience, plus many other benefits such as a great pension scheme, private healthcare, life assurance cover, and holiday which increases with service, we offer a comprehensive rewards package.
