The successful candidate will be instrumental in facilitating our proxy voting procedures, enhancing investment stewardship efforts, and advancing sustainability initiatives. This role provides the chance to collaborate closely with various departments, including Investment Research, Client Communications, and Client Services, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proxy Voting Management: Support the organization and execution of proxy voting activities, ensuring alignment with the firm's established standards.
- Investment Stewardship Engagement: Participate in broader investment stewardship initiatives, including proactive engagement with corporate entities.
- Sustainability Data Analysis: Evaluate company and portfolio information to assist clients in achieving sustainability goals, thereby enhancing our service offerings in this vital area.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work alongside the Investment Research team and Client Communications/Service teams to manage stewardship documentation and address ad hoc inquiries.
- Preparation of Management Information: Compile essential data for Committees and Groups, ensuring management receives accurate and timely information.
- Client Reporting Development: Create and prepare sustainability-related content for client reports and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Research Operations Support: Acquire comprehensive knowledge of all facets of Research Operations to provide effective assistance as required.
- Provide coverage for team members during absences and support other departmental tasks as needed.
- Perform any additional duties as reasonably requested by management.
