Maintenance Contracts Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated maintenance professional to manage a diverse team and specialist contractors in delivering planned, preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to Water & Gas systems.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the Asset Management Team to update records, including change management of asset information, and support various stakeholders across Estates and Facilities Services to ensure compliance and safety in the workplace.

As the 'face' of the Water & Gas Compliance Team, the Maintenance Contracts Manager will provide excellent customer service, decisive management, and strong technical skills to deliver a first-class service to clients.

The role may be suitable for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route, and the University of Leeds offers a range of benefits, including 26 days holiday plus 16 Bank Holidays/days that the University is closed, access to on-site childcare, shopping discounts, and travel schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage specialist contractors and build a professional team to deliver PPM and reactive repairs
  • Collaborate with the Asset Management Team to update records and manage asset information
  • Support various stakeholders across Estates and Facilities Services to ensure compliance and safety
  • Provide excellent customer service and decisive management to deliver a first-class service
