We seek highly motivated engineers with a proven track record in problem-solving, whether working independently or as part of a project team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage engineering support for projects.
  • Assist in the project optioneering process.
  • Develop concept designs and suitable engineering solutions for projects.
  • Produce and/or approve technical specifications for projects.
  • Conduct technical assessments and approvals of contractors' work instructions, method statements, and risk assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Membership in a relevant Engineering Institution and/or Chartered Status is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in an Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineering role within industrial settings.
  • Experience in project delivery.
  • Significant background in nuclear and/or conventional project engineering.
  • Comprehensive understanding of applicable company and national engineering standards.

Benefits:

  • Flexible working arrangements where feasible.
  • Generous annual leave policy, including 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays, with additional leave accruing after years of service.
  • Options to buy or sell annual leave.
  • Flexible benefits scheme, including cycle-to-work and gym membership discounts.
  • Participation in the Company Bonus Scheme, with potential earnings based on corporate objectives.
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Programme, offering 24-hour support and a wellbeing app.
  • 5% employer pension contribution, contingent on individual contributions.
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity pay based on service duration.
  • Opportunities for training and development through performance management arrangements, supporting your Continuous Professional Development.

At NRS, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We particularly encourage applications from women, Black, Asian, and ethnic minorities, LGBT+ individuals, and candidates with disabilities, as these groups are underrepresented in our workforce.
