Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at an Alternative Provision school in Bournemouth. The successful candidate will work with secondary age pupils aged 11-16 with Autism (ASD) and social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as challenging behaviour.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will provide guidance and support to pupils in the classroom and with their social and emotional development.

Requirements
  • Experience of working with primary and/or secondary school aged children
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND/SEMH and challenging behaviour
  • A passion for the progress of pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
