Ramsay Health Care UK Operations Limited is seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Support Specialist to collaborate closely with our surgical team, various departments, external partners, and the TSSU Hub. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the coordination and management of surgical kits and related services.
Key Responsibilities
The Surgical Support Specialist will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and overseeing the procurement and management of surgical equipment, instruments, and implants to meet operational requirements.
- Ensuring effective communication regarding the ordering process and accountability for external resources.
- Utilizing IT systems, such as MAXIMS, to support service delivery and maintain accurate records.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with team members and external stakeholders.
- Taking initiative in planning and organizing tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will possess:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable).
- The ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
