This role serves as the primary point of contact for the coordination and management of surgical kits and related services.

Key Responsibilities

The Surgical Support Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and overseeing the procurement and management of surgical equipment, instruments, and implants to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensuring effective communication regarding the ordering process and accountability for external resources.
  • Utilizing IT systems, such as MAXIMS, to support service delivery and maintain accurate records.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with team members and external stakeholders.
  • Taking initiative in planning and organizing tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable).
