Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Loss Adjuster to join our team at Lawes Consulting Group. As a Loss Adjuster, you will be responsible for handling a mixed portfolio of property, high net worth, major loss, and complex claims, split between domestic and commercial, and typically complex claims with a value of between £50k to £100k+.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate complex claims, including property, high net worth, and major losses, to determine liability and quantum.
- Prepare detailed reports, including policy analysis, liability, and quantum, to support claims decisions.
- Communicate regularly with clients, insurers, reinsurers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective claim resolution.
- Manage and instruct surveyors, loss mitigation specialists, legal experts, and other experts as necessary to support claim evaluation and resolution.
- Identify and develop business opportunities for self and team.
- Extensive experience in loss adjusting, preferably with a focus on complex and technical claims.
- ACILA qualified or significant progress towards.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
