Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Loss Adjuster to join our team at Independent Appointments. As a Major & Complex Loss Adjuster, you will be responsible for adjusting High Net Worth, Major Loss, and other complex claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out the adjustment of High Net Worth, Major Loss, and other complex claims.
  • Work from a home base, covering Scotland, and provide a quality service in keeping with service level agreements.
  • Maintain your own portfolio of losses with back office support from a central point.
  • Keep policyholders, brokers, and insurers updated along the journey of the claim.
  • Deal with losses that vary in value, including High Net Worth losses ranging from £5,000 to over £100,000, and major loss work over £100,000.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of loss adjusting experience in the field.
  • Self-motivated and able to work from a home base.
  • Previous experience of dealing with HNW and/or Major Loss would be ideal.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACILA would be advantageous.
