Job Role: Visiting Development Manager
Location: Brighton, East Sussex
Salary: £21,858.20 per annum plus benefits
Job Sector: Retirement - Independent Living
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (35 hours per week)
The job role involves:
- Maintaining a high profile around the development/office, ensuring our residents meet our requirements.
- In the event of an emergency, contacting the appropriate response team or authorities.
- Carrying out daily checks to ensure the building is safe and secure, and maintaining all communal areas, gardens, and grounds through effective management of contractors.
- Being responsible for all works being completed, raising orders, managing contractors, monitoring progress, and signing off completion.
- Helping to build a sense of community by encouraging and supporting a Social Committee to plan and run social events for all residents.
- Building and maintaining links with residents' family members, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Maintaining records in line with internal procedures, ensuring all data is protected and kept secure at all times.
- Assisting with sales listed with our partner company, making new residents feel welcome, and helping them settle in.
- Working across your local peer team of Development Managers for advice and day-to-day support, and traveling to team/company meetings on a monthly/annual basis.
- Communicating effectively with residents, colleagues, and other stakeholders, with the ability to resolve issues and complaints effectively.
- Operating Microsoft Office applications and being confident in learning new systems.
