Beauty Counter Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Counter Manager to join our team at John Lewis in Oxford Street. As a Counter Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the counter, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage a team of staff to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service
- Manage stock levels, inventory, and ordering to ensure the counter is fully stocked and merchandised
- Monitor and control operational costs to ensure the counter is profitable
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety and customer service standards
- Provide coaching and feedback to staff to improve performance and achieve targets
- Communicate with the Area Sales Manager to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives
- Minimum 2-3 years of management experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
- Proven track record of achieving sales and customer service targets
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent, plus relevant experience or qualifications
