Job Title: Senior Fashion Designer - Womenswear

Join the ASOS Design Team as a Senior Fashion Designer - Womenswear and play a key role in shaping the future of fashion at ASOS.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fashion Designer to lead the design of our Womenswear range. As a Senior Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and creating a balanced range of products that meet the needs of our 20-something customer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the ASOS brand and customer
  • Lead the design of our Womenswear range, ensuring that products are commercially relevant, fashion-forward, and meet the needs of our customer
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Buying, Commercial, and Marketing, to ensure design vision is communicated clearly
  • Present trend research and product ideas to stakeholders, including Buying and Commercial leadership
  • Work closely with in-house Buying teams to create fresh product and shape the product direction for the department
  • Manage and develop more junior team members, providing clear direction and regular feedback
  • Maintain a clear understanding of brand purpose and Fashion with Integrity, ensuring these principles are fully embedded within the team
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in multi-product Design within an aspirational brand or high street Retailer
  • Experience of working cross-functionally to deliver initiatives that have a positive commercial impact
  • Proven ability to drive the success of a department or brand through strategic and commercial thinking
  • Commercial handwriting and strong understanding of the ASOS Brand and Customer
  • Experience with Photoshop, Adobe, CAD
  • Plugged into 20-something culture and fashion, passionate about the product
  • Strong organisation skills, initiative, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build great relationships with colleagues across the business and suppliers alike
