GE Aviation seeks a highly skilled Finance Operations Specialist to drive technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate actual financial reporting and analysis, leveraging in-depth understanding of key business drivers and team integration.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare quarterly forecasting cashflows, compare actuals to forecast, and improve Modeller.
- Ensure pre-close actions are completed and postings are made.
- Coordinate month-end close activities, ensuring teams are available and monitoring progress, escalating and resolving any issues that arise.
- Prepare the receivables month-end analysis file and upload the SAP TB and tie out ERP.
- Develop the quarter-end reporting pack, preparing receivable reporting information and coordinating with other teams to construct the full reporting pack.
- Prepare account reconciliations.
- Support statutory and SOX accounting requirements.
- Lead lean initiatives and projects to improve current processes.
- Experience in Finance & Accounting Operations.
- Relevant degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional qualification - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Qualified by experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
