About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Guild Care in West Worthing. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing emotional support and care to our clients, ensuring they receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with mobility and physical activities, including lifting or supporting clients
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Accurately record information and care provided
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and community services
  • Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality care
Requirements
  • A compassionate and caring approach to providing emotional support
  • Good communication skills with the ability to actively listen to clients and their families
  • Ability to assist with mobility and physical activities, including lifting or supporting clients
  • Quick thinking and problem-solving skills for unexpected challenges
  • Satisfactory DBS Check
