About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Indemnity Lawyer to join our in-house team at SPE Travelers Management, LTD. As a key member of our Claims team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex claims, working closely with our customers, internal partners, and external vendors to deliver exceptional customer experiences and optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate claims and develop claim strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver high-quality service.
  • Set reserves and manage claim budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with the Client Relationship team and Underwriting to develop and strengthen relationships with our customers.
  • Participate in the development of business strategies and initiatives to drive growth and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Thorough experience and sound judgment handling Financial lines of business with a strong emphasis on Solicitors professional negligence claims.
  • Advanced technical expertise with a proven track record managing key client accounts, addressing trends and issues affecting their business, and mitigating risks and exposures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
