Deputy Director of Credit Policy Job Description

Cer Financial is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Director of Credit Policy to join their team in the City of London. As a key member of the credit team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective credit policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with the credit administration team to ensure accurate and timely credit reporting.
  • Provide training and guidance to credit staff on credit risk analysis, financial analysis, and proposal preparation and review.
  • Work closely with the credit committee to review and make recommendations on credit proposals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including credit administration, remedial management, monitoring unit, finance, compliance, and audit.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective credit policies and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk analysis, financial analysis, and proposal preparation and review.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
