Laundry Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Assistant to join our team at Bupa's care home in Richmond Villages Wood Norton. As a Laundry Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our residents' clothing and linens.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the laundry process, including washing, drying, and ironing residents' clothing and bedding.
  • Ensure the laundry room is clean and well-stocked with supplies.
  • De-fluff the tumble dryers daily and manage the collection and distribution of laundry items.
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns to management.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of laundry equipment and processes.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards.
