Senior Project Planner

Location: London (Hybrid)

We are looking to recruit a Senior Project Planner for a prestigious, multi-billion-pound tunnelling initiative in London, representing our client, a global frontrunner in the construction sector. This hybrid position allows for three days on-site and two days remote, providing flexibility while contributing to a significant civil engineering venture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and oversee comprehensive project plans for major infrastructure undertakings.
  • Grasp existing team/client workflows, mastering Project Control systems and processes, while continuously seeking to enhance procedures.
  • Leverage extensive P6 expertise to guarantee precise scheduling and resource distribution.
  • Employ thorough knowledge of NEC contract forms to manage project risks and ensure adherence.
  • Direct MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) planning initiatives on large-scale projects.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary project team to meet project goals.
  • Extract, analyze, and interpret data to generate accurate, timely, and informative reports.
  • Identify root causes and impacts, providing insights to foster project success.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of planning experience, ideally within major infrastructure projects.
  • Strong background in project planning with a proven track record in previous roles.
  • Proficient in P6 software.
  • Comprehensive understanding of NEC contract forms.
  • Experience in MEP planning.
  • Exceptional communication and writing capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to produce detailed reports and insights.
