Job Overview

Position Summary:

The MSC Client Deliverables team is engaged in the collection, quality assurance, interpretation, and evaluation of marine geophysical data, along with geohazard assessments and the synthesis of geophysical, environmental, and geotechnical information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all tasks are performed with the utmost quality and professionalism, adhering to the company's Integrated Management System and project-specific guidelines.
  • Identify personal development needs and communicate them to the department manager, while actively participating in available training opportunities.
  • Conduct all operations with a strong commitment to the health and safety of all personnel, as well as environmental protection and pollution prevention.
  • Oversee the quality of data collected on survey vessels, collaborating with the Party Chief and other survey personnel, while maintaining comprehensive survey logs.
  • Analyze and integrate diverse data sets, preparing reports that comply with contractual requirements, Fugro standards, and Quality Assurance protocols, under the guidance of the Geoscience Supervisor, Team Leaders, or Senior Geophysicist.
  • Assist in the collection of seabed samples, ensuring proper logging and testing as necessary.
  • Utilize departmental IT systems to facilitate data interpretation and reporting.
  • Engage with Fugro colleagues, clients, and subcontractors as needed.
  • Support technical and organizational development initiatives.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of data post-acquisition and throughout the reporting process.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to trainee staff during data collection and reporting activities.
