Job Opportunity

Fugro-Geoteam AS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geophysical Survey Specialist to join our team.

The Role

As a Senior Geophysical Survey Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support for all geophysical survey operations and reporting technical and operational situations to the Party Chief. This position requires extensive offshore experience and expertise in electronics/mechanical engineering, as well as proficiency in setting up and operating commonly used survey sensors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the setup, interfacing, testing, maintenance, calibration, and operation of acquisition sensors.
  • Monitor data quality to ensure survey specifications are met.
  • Review and amend Integrated Management System (IMS) documents to continually improve working practices.
  • Develop and maintain expertise with acquisition systems and survey techniques.
  • Implement and review Planned Maintenance Systems and maintain the inventory of equipment and consumables.

Requirements

  • Extensive offshore geophysical survey experience.
  • Proficiency in setting up and operating commonly used survey sensors.
  • Good understanding of computer system hardware and networks.
  • Experience in fault finding and reporting.
  • Computer literacy, including networking.
