Job Overview

Position Summary:

The MSC Client Deliverables team is engaged in the collection, quality assurance, interpretation, and evaluation of marine geophysical information, geohazard evaluations, and the synthesis of geophysical, environmental, and geotechnical datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all tasks are performed with the utmost quality and professionalism, adhering to the company’s Integrated Management System and project-specific guidelines.
  • Identify personal development needs and communicate them to the department manager, while taking full advantage of available training opportunities.
  • Conduct all operations with a strong commitment to the health and safety of all personnel, as well as the safeguarding of the environment and pollution prevention.
  • Oversee the quality of data collected on survey vessels, collaborating with the Party Chief and other survey personnel, while maintaining accurate survey logs.
  • Analyze and synthesize various data types, preparing reports that comply with contractual requirements, Fugro standards, and Quality Assurance protocols, under the guidance of the Geoscience Supervisor, Team Leaders, or Senior Geophysicist.
  • Assist in the collection, logging, and testing of seabed samples as necessary.
  • Utilize departmental IT systems to support data interpretation and reporting.
  • Engage with Fugro colleagues, clients, and subcontractors as needed.
  • Contribute to technical and organizational development initiatives.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of data following acquisition and throughout the reporting process.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Provide supervision to trainee staff during data collection and reporting activities.
