Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Discrepancy Processing Clerk to join our team at Post Office. As a key member of our Supply Chain, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business systems.

Key Responsibilities

As a Discrepancy Processing Clerk, you will be responsible for:

  • Collating data from various business systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • Preparing discrepancy notifications to branches and managing CCTV requests from Postmasters.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to Postmasters, addressing their issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Producing management information reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaising with the wider Post Office Supply Chain to achieve satisfactory outcomes for branch queries.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Basic understanding of Business IT systems and experience working in a service environment.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 and demonstrating good all-round IT skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility in undertaking various roles and working as directed by Manager.
