At Unlikely AI, we're pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence and machine learning. As a Senior Applied Scientist, you'll play a key role in driving our research and development efforts, working closely with our team to deliver innovative solutions that make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert cutting-edge research into practical applications
  • Design, build, and experiment with cutting-edge technologies
  • Drive the design, development, and execution of self-driven research projects
  • Write software that is built and deployed in production systems
  • Communicate complex solutions to colleagues
  • Analyse and inspect large-scale datasets

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of machine learning fundamentals
  • Strong coding skills in Python and familiarity with one or more deep learning frameworks
  • Ability to communicate complex research both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP
  • Proficiency in data analysis techniques

Desirable:

  • Experience utilising and deploying transformer models
  • ML Ops
  • Docker, K8s
  • Start-up experience
