Job Summary

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and welcoming individual to join our team as a Ward Host at Castle View Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and their families to the ward, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Assist with the initial needs of patients and their families, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Answer the telephone and take messages, ensuring that all communication is handled in a professional and timely manner.
  • Answer the door video camera and check ID, maintaining the security and integrity of the ward.
  • Assist the Ward Administrator with various tasks, including patient admissions, discharges, and managing the flow of visitors to wards.
  • Run external errands for staff or parents, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist with coffee mornings, providing a social and supportive environment for patients and their families.
  • Tidy up the ward, maintaining a clean and safe environment for all.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be highly organized and able to multitask, with a strong attention to detail.
